Happy New Year!
Whisky tasting is back with a Burns Night tasting event! Here at The Hop Vault we love whisky almost as much as beer, be the first to sample some of the whiskies we'll be stocking on the bar, with a guided tasting by a local whisky expert. Expect lots of laughs, a bit of knowledge, some cheese and plenty of whisky! Tickets available here.
Right, first proper stock drop of the year. Sorry it's a bit later than usual some of our deliveries were delayed. It's only a small one as most of the brewers are still hungover from Christmas but there's a few beauts on there.
The big news this week is a couple of arrivals from Spanish brewery Basqueland, a fruited pastry sour and DIPA brewed in collaboration with Deya.
There's a big Patrons Project imperial stout from Northern Monk brewed with Holy Goat & Amundsen.
The first cans we've ever had from Drop Project.
There's restocks of Brew York, Lost & Gorunded and Cloudwater. Fresh Deya, Pomona Island, Polly's and Pressure Drop. Plus a bunch of new Belgian stuff.
